make flames shoot out of the exhaust?
 

does anybody know of a simple way to do this, now that i will be strictly obeying the speed limit under all circumstances, ill need a way to keep people off of my back, this was a HUGE problem for me today, what really bothered me is that i could of smoked them both, but it wasnt worth the risk right now

There are some kits for it. It shuts your engine off and lets fuel run through the exhaust. Then a spark plug at the end of the pipe ignites it.

Err...I've never heard of that, I'd see that as an insane fire hazard. And how much fuel does it take to dribble out the end of your exhaust pipe? Imagine that explosion hehe. That'd really be a show! I've not seen them all but the kits I've seen are designed for you to be running a little rich and they set off a spark in your exhaust. Generally in neutral if you rev the engine a few times you can create unburnt fuel and it'll be forced out the exhaust. The amount of unburnt fuel and level of force will dictate how big a flame you get. You can easily duplicate this with the electronic ignitor from a propane grill screwed into your exhaust. Get some wire and extend it all the way up into your dash and mount it somewhere nice. Much like the "hi-speed fan switch", its a $10 gadget sold for 10x as much. There are other more complicated ways but that'll get a flame out the end. Generally you want your exhaust pipe to either extend past the end of your car or face down.

its just a vapour not liquid, and it doesnt shut off your engine, it redirects spark from your last two pistons to your tail pipes..

ahh, I got interested in learning about this and I found a post:

What you do is install the kit on to your car, tapping into the ignition wires and install a spark plug and a coil by your muffler, while reving your motor you push the button, which kills the spark to you factory coils, which in turn sends the raw fuel down your exhaust, the coils at your muffler send voltage to your spark plugs in the exhaust, which light the raw fuel in your muffler and voila FLAMES!!!

This is really hard on your motor, because you can wash the cylinder walls on your motor, plus is really hard if you have a cataylic convertor. You also have to change your oil every 3000km's or less, because your oil thins out from the fuel contamination

A: Yes and no. It will work on almost any E.F.I. car, truck, or motorcycle without a catalytic converter provided it does not have 4 or 6 cylinder engine ( motorcycles are exempt from this, but still can't have a catalytic converter).

Used to do this with my old 58 Ford, about every third time it would blow the muffler off. It was all the rage in the 50's and early 60's

It would just kill the cat with all the extra unburned fuel, not even sure it would work now that I think about it, the cat may absorb the extra fuel. What is your guys take on this...yes or no?
