Don't do it. It can be VERY dangerous. The lug doesn't fully support the rim. Rim and hub damage can occur.

The proper and safe thing to do is only use 5x115

but... saying that I'm running 5x114.3 on my 97, without any issues.... so far...
I've had them on for around 2 years now....

Straight driving, there isn't alot of danger except at higher speeds. In turns you can get into danger with those. I've seen them destroy wheels, and I've seen a couple come off.

here is a question though, what if you use the hub centric rings? the guys at grandprix.net suggested that to make sure the wheel is centered and a lot of them seem to be running wheels with a 5x114.3 pattern. this would def. make sure the rim was centered on the hub and keep it on straight.
