Default Are the coolant flush at "quikie lube" worthwhile?

The local quickie lube is offering a coolant flush for 39.95. It is a hard price to beat compared to doing it myself. We all know the quality of experience at quikie lube is often a huge concern.

My two questions are- is the equipment they use to power flush coolant as good as or even better than the old prestone flush at home way? What is the likeleness of the quicki lube tech actually performing the flush to standard, can he screw it up and/ or will the fulkl flush actually be performed.

He may not be familiar with "burping" our 3800'*. Really, no telling "WHAT" they may do to your car. IMHO.

I never seem to keep a car to the point of needing a flush. But for the price, and the assurance it'* done right and complete, I would go with the Prestone kit. And you can use it over and over. It isn't a Technological Matter that is going to be improved by hooking it to a fancy looking machine. It was constructed to bilk $39.95 a shot out of people.

If you don't have a garage, or time to do it, then use them. Hard to mess up a coolant flush. If you want to save some money, then do it yourself. It'* not hard.
