did yours fall off or are you replacing it? it is located down near the dampener, there is a two wire connector to remove first. I think I have a pic somewhere...I'll look.

thanx! No, i have to replace it because fuddyduddy said so. Seriously, its bad and its sending a code on my computer.

I had the local dealer install mine. You gotta take off the passenger side tire, then get the harmonic balancer off (PAIN!). Mine was stuck very well.

to get the harmonic balancer off you need a 3 or 4 jaw puller

Just to be sure--the ECM gives the same code for the crank sensor and the cam sensor. Are you sure its the crank? The cam sensor is a cinch to replace and i'd start there, unless your symptoms say its the crank.

I had the garage do it, I started to attempt it nad seen how much of a PITA it was going to be as a driveway repair.

For reference, a crank sensor will affect ignition (spark), and a cam sensor affects fuel delivery (injectors).
