Default Tire Questions (kumho, bf goodrich, yokohama)

SO I edited the post because I'm not going for the Kumho Solus Tires, I think I want something a little more higher up. I live in Michigan, and do a lot of expressway and winter driving. I need a high quality tire with good winter traction at a decent price. I have these as options (see poll). any thoughts?

My friend has them on his '06 Kia Optima. They are pretty nice. They did fairly well in the blizzard we had in February of this year.

I had the BFG'*. They are OK for occasional snowy conditions, but nothing like a snow tire (of course). I'm assuming since your name is marquette you live in the UP; if so, you might want to consider an actual snow tire for the winter.

I didn't get a lot of miles out of the BFG'*, but I wasn’t too easy on them and I had an alignment issue a couple times. Based on other Yokohomas that I have had, I wouldn't expect great miles out of them either though. Otherwise the BFG'* were a decent all-around tire.
