Default NSX engine vs 3800 II

A friend at work said that the NSX has the most effeciant hp out put per L. on a NA engine. I do not think that that is correct but i could not find any thing on it so I decided to ask of you all what you think.

I figure that the out put for the engines would be
3.0 = 84hp per L
3.2 - 90.6hp per L.

Also What do you think the out put on the 3800 II would be with the same compression and higher RPMs

An NSX costs 80000$ plus. the B32C engine it has is also the same one that is placed in the Odessey and and one of the SUVs Honda makes, just a different transmission. I believe the NSX runs a mid to low 14 in the quarter.

The Honda S2000 gets 240hp out of a NA 2L 4-cyl.
That'* 120hp per liter. That puts the NSX to shame.

I figured out that the 3800 II with the same compression ect. the only thing that I changed was the RPM.
What i did is use the equaston Torque X RPM / 5252 = HP and figured out that for every 1200 added rpm over the max torque you lose 22.95 torque. So at 7000 RPM you would have a total of 172.625 torque resulting in 230hp.
172.625 X 7000 / 5252 = 230 HP
That leases me about 112hp short of the NSX

So can any one give me what the differences in hp or torque between the 9.1:1 and 10.1:1 so I could try to finish the theoritical output would be.

Every point in compression is worth about 15-20HP. Depends on the engine size and design though.

The NSX and S2000 also have 4 valve per cylinder and fully variable valve timing which is going to throw your calculations all out of whack too. The all aluminium construction will make a difference too.

The NSX has a 3.2L V6. It'* easy to tell what displacement a Honda has because the engine number is the same. ie:B18C is a 1.8L, H22A, is 2.2L....
