genreal ?'* on RPOs & differences....
i have;
NW9- traction control electronic
&
Y98- control, ride system electronic
are these the same system or different?
* what does the 8ZB & 9ZB do (comp sel susp); & 6KJ,7KJ (comp sel susp)?
Is my suspension a computer controled set-up; all i see is the power inflator in trunk
i have;
JM4- brake system, pwr frnt disk,rear drum, cast iron(antilock)
is this better than the?
JL9-frnt & rear disk, w/ antilock front wheel.
Just seeing what i got before i do anything drastic...

the NW9 is the traction controll system....it will help you if you are on a slippery condition by retarding the engines timing to help the front wheels gain controll and get you moving
the Y98 is the CCR which is the computer command ride....what this does it it changes the ride of the car thru electrical systems that are contained in the strut and a controll box that is located under the drivers seat via pressing the buttons (Performance and Tourning Ride) that are next to the shifter
your car will have the JM4 system....what that means is that you have front disks and rear drums that are made out of cast iron, and you have the antilock system
the JL9 is for the 00+ cars because they have disc brakes front and rear with the antilock system....

concerning the y98:
looks like i have the control box under the seat, but no button by shifter.
i have seen pic'* of that 4th button, thought it might be that...
why does my RPO say i have it & not have the button?

ok i get the idiot award ......i obviously cant read today.......
you dont have the CCR....
y98 is for the ELC system that raises the rear of the car when a load is applied to keep the car level via a height sensor on the rear A arm....the sensor tells the compressor to fill the rear air ASSIST gas struts to keep the ride consistant
sorry about the confusion
