Default is it a bad idea to take out my silver trim?

the silver strip of trim on the front and rear bumpers and the side molding. i thought that twister97 took out his trim. can anything bad happen from that, like water getting inside and rusting?

sry im retarded. on my 97 se it has the silver trim on the front and rear bumper and the side molding.

ahhh...gotcha....the silvertrim is just adhered to the plastic moulding....you should have no problems, but there will be a big gap in there

I like mine, but my car is silver, so it kinda looks good. But for other colors it might be cool if you could de-chrome it or black it out.

Huh? What do you mean?

The silver trim is the same as something being just glued on, there'* nothing that'* going to be exposed. It'* just plastic glued into a groove.
