Default White lightning II is home!

Safe and sound. I gave her a washing, and she looks GREAT. It def. needs a claybarring. I picked my BRAND NEW CP9110 scantool up and did a few runs. 1-2* MAX KR, which is pretty good, correct? Pics to come tomorrow, after I clean her up pretty good.

Also, i think I have a problem. According to the scantool, the Voltage is only 12.9-13.0 max.

Congrats on the car.

The voltage is about right.. I wouldn't be worried until it went mid to low 12'*

Excellent. Just making sure my alternator isn't gonna take a crap. Other than that, I LOVE the car. Pics to come today or tomorrow.

1-2 degrees of KR on stock components? What octane? Have you inspected for EM cracks? You shouldn't see ANY KR on a stock setup unless it'* extreme conditions (very hot and humid).

For your voltage issue, do the battery cable cleaning or simply replace them. I'll bet you gain at least half a volt.

I got 1-2* max of KR with my intake and ported LIM/TB (I'm pretty close to stock), but it was about 60* out when I tested. I know on a hot humid day I'd get more, I can feel it in how it drives on a very hot day. I probably won't pulley until I replace my EM'*. 1-2* is better than say 13-14*, but I'd still try to find out the problem.

Anyway, congrats on the Bonne!!

It has a crappy rice pipe on it that gets pretty hot. I know for sure that the EMs have cracks, we verified that when a seafoam was done and smoke was barreling out by the manifolds when we started it up.

Scanning ahead of time is good. Gives you a basis for repairs and mods.

Once you get the manis fixed..I'd like to see another scan and figure the KR will be lower or gone.

Heh, WOW. I cleaned all the grounds, coil towers, and the parts where the coils ground around the bolthole, went and did a few scans, ZERO KR!
