I would like to pay my last respects.
I have owned my 90 Bonne SSE for approximately 15 years, and have got to be one of the best cars I've ever owned. It has taken our family to Florida 7 times, (22hr drive) and been on many road trips such as Boston, Ottawa, Quebec, Cape Cod, South Carolina, Timmons, and so on and so on. In the last couple of years I have replaced many parts (starter, rad, calipers, fuel pump, etc) since I felt it owed me nothing and deserved everything. My Bonne took me through many snow storms and I never, ever felt that it would let me down. It was an extension of my personality. It is with much sadness and sorrow...... due to the fact that my dear wife has informed me that she did not and will not renew the license plate sticker, I must let her go. Just out of curiosity, I took her to see if she would pass emission, (yes I paid the $40.00) and she did, I knew she wouldn't let me down. Just so you know my dear friend, I figured you were going to be with me for another couple of years.
For those of you that didn't make it to ONBF here is a picture. The second picture is one for my wallet.
Now if anyone would like to join in and say there goodbye'*.
Farewell my good friend.
My Baby.....

Guys, if you've been following, the '90 isn't "just fine" anymore and Frank was expecting some major repairs soon, IIRC. Plus, he has almost 500,000 km on it, so it surely has done it'* time.
That has been a fine car and deserves your fond feelings, Frank.
Maybe someone here wants a project????

Ok here'* the story; these are the reason'* I have to let her go.
1. Too many projects so I need the driveway space.
2. I can't insure another vehicle since my son'* insurance rate will go from $795.00 to $4350.00, since he would then be considered a principal driver.
3. If I store it well that just costs money, and it'* just going to deteriorate.
4. I just don't have the time to keep it in better shape.
This amoung other things, are the reason'* I must let her go.
By the way, there was a person at the ONBF that wanted it for $100, I believe it was Mikeg from Canada. Has anyone seen him lately?

And now that you mention those.
I would like to say: Good-bye Bonnie, you have done your duties, I wish you a peaceful rest.
I'm going to cry...
