shoot im stumped
hey guys im stumped it is not the fuel pump nor any ignition partsi have a tps and an iac...no quite seeing an maf..Whatdo you think it could be..starts right up with a little gas pedal(not nomal) runs for 5-10 seconds then dies out..if i give er any gas she dies..talking about my silverado...no codes either...going to go take a vid now back in a few

If possible, check fuel pressure at the shrader valve with KOEO, Key On, Engine Off, then do KOER Key on engine run. If pressure drops off as it stalls we will know it'* teh fuel system.
Other things to check are the EGR valve. A stuck open pintal will cause a start and stall, as well as a cracked EGR tube, however it'* more likely to cause a rough idle. But still worth checking.
Remove the air filter and air tube so yoru at the MAF screen. The MAF will be between the air filter and the throttle plate. Unplug MAF and try to start. If it stumbles and then smooths out, the MAF is bad.

...my stubborn *** ol man swears its the iac or tps and its just the valves...But i'm not gonna dump money into a blown motor...big deal its got 250k on it oh well ill pull it out get me a short block and swap my top end to it..just watched the vid and if you listen closley when it stalls you can hear stuff still rattling/slapping around

Not really hearing much in the video that would lead me to think a mechanical problem. I could be as simple as a bad Engine coolant temp sensor.

opkay new parts are as follows..just this ummer
new plugs/wires cap rotor coil
fuel filter u joints
temp sensors t stat
rad and core hoses...Idk i think its just the lifters making noise per the lack of oil at startup..gonna do some better trouble shooting tomorrow was to tired/still am today..thinkin i clean my IAC and TPS and go from there....
