Default Thinking about tint

I'm thinking about getting my rear windows tinted. Dr Tint in Greenfield will do it for $90 and it'* all legal. I'm concerned about not being able to see as well when backing up.

Karl, you need to check out the guy that Bill used. His tint was super high quality and its easy to see in Boosty'* car. I'm not sure if he actually does cars on a regular basis, but after seeing the finished product, I was impressed.

if you go legal its not that hard to see out or at night...

I would recommend doing all windows not just the rear

I got a good look at it at the last NEBF. That'* the percent I'd like, not too dark. The dude in Greenfield did handdrumman'* windows and it'* guaranteed for life. Who did Bills?

Not sure. I'll be up by his way tomorrow and if he doesn't see this before then, I'll let him know you're interested.

I used a local guy that has his own business and gets contracted my the glass place he works at plus many other local shops.

I've got the number here.. Cost would be about $200. He refuses to do low quality work and therefore the back window is one piece and the rear deck always comes out for his installs. He used Onyx tint on my car and it'* 35% which coupled with the factory tint puts me barely over legal limits.

The up side... the stuff he uses does not look dark and therefore does not get questioned much. It'* easy to see out of at night etc. I had concerns and he worked with me on them before tinting it.

A little more than I've go to spend. The same place offers a high performance tinit film that "has metalized materials in the film that will reject more heat and has a shaper look to the car".

eh, just go with regular tint if there'* a price difference. if it'* hot and sunny out, the car will get hot. theres really no way around it. i have 35 on the front and 5 on the rears and it still gets unbearably hot

It'* about $40 difference. I can't see spending the extra if the standard is guaranteed.
