I retire

its sad to say i sold the bonneville. it was a short lived but intense love affair she loved my wallet and i loved her acceleration. but with gas as much as it is and my 19 year old insurance rates as well as reliability issues i had to dump the b@*&^ i will miss her though
this is a great site and keep it up

Insurance on a bonnie is CHEAP compared to a lot of rides.

Milage is good if you keep out of it, or do some mods, but good luck to you whatever u get.

Good luck finding another car that wont bust the pocket book. You probably would have found a N/A car easier on gas and insurance.

mine was SC i think im gonna get something that gets 30 plus and save for a year n get soemthing i really want like an lss or another bonnie plus mine was pushing 185000 miles and trans went

My sig pic says most of it right there.....202K miles and she still runs like a bat out of hell. Any car with that kinda mileage on it's going to need some TLC and money. To be honest with ya, with my insurance it's WAY cheaper for me to drive a S/C'd V6 over my 94 Chevy 1500. And my car gets about 30 MPG avg on the freeway.

I kinda hear a running excuse here.

Bills and Lakeville's SSEi Bonnie getting 30 Mpg, as compared to my 95 SE 3800 Series II nonblown V6 @ a best of 33MPG, 32 is the usuall... I'd say thats pretty good for an SC'd motor in a full size car...

Even the 3400 V6 is rated at 21 city and 32 Hwy( might do 35mpg Max )

Sorry to hear it tho, and good luck

Not when you're 19 and it has a power-adder. That combo=horrendous rates. Throw in a ticket or two, and you're spending more on insurance than gas.
