Pulling old motor which is easier
Is it easier to pull the motor and tranny together and split outside car or can you pull just the motor just as easily
I read the techinfo article on the pull together but i don't need the tranny out of the car.
I have done all the steps except the transmission drive axles in the article I am ready to disconnect the tranny tonight
Thanks

I've got the engine only down to 2 hours or less.
Adding the trans would include popping the ball joints and removing the axles.
Personally..these motors are very easy in relation to most. Motor only...
Ready for the run down.
Electrical: Alt, Injectors, TB, Sensors on engine, AC compressor and pressure switch, knock sensor in the front and starter, oil level sensor. From passenger wheel well one ground and the rear knock sensor
Remove fans..Drain coolant
Fuel lines, exhaust at downpipe. Motor to trans mount in wheel well and backwards bolt that holds engine to trans from wheel well.
Torque axis mount (in front of water pump) and trans bolts..
Lift it up.

Thanks for the quick answer question on parts
Is there any market for Vin 1 Series 1 crank, Pistons, rods, Heads, cam etc
I have eveything but the Supercharger and 1 piston as extra parts
The block is scored on the #4 Cylinder so figure it is junk unless someone wants one to punch out larger
The crank looks good as do 5 of the pistons
Would like to recoup some of my costs for two motors two LIM/UIM and Oil pan Gaskets and a whole bunch of my time.
Thanks
