the itr4a-15 has:
extremely long life plug, iridium center electrode with PLATINUM tipped ground electrode.

the tr55-ix :
does not have the PLATINUM ground electrode.

the tr55-ix will last for 100,000 miles or more, i have over 80,000 on mine with no decline in gas mileage.

willwren, all three plugs were listed on NGK'* site for my 2000 Buick Lesabre which has a lower radiator hose that says: BONN/LESABRE.

Are all three the same heat range?

By the way, the factory plugs are still in there and they are the AC Delco 41-921 if that matters any.

willwren, I leave it out intentionally because people on this board frown on Buicks and they (the Buicks) don't get the same amount of enthusiatic attention as the Bonnevilles do. So if you ask me if I'm guilty of misleadiing people, I should probably say yes.

Did I mention that my lower radiator hose says "BONN/LESABRE" on it?

There isn't a single member on this forum that frowns on Buicks. After all, that'* where our drivetrains come from.

The lack of a signature in your porfile makes it difficult to address your posts. Particularly this one. Please put your car in your signature.

Last time I had my signiture up there, I got bannished to the (other 3800 powered cars) forum.

The problem with that forum is that it doesn't get the traffic that the other forums get.

Every once in awhile I'll sneak in a thread over at the (2000-2005) forum, but when I do, I feel like a fox in a hen house.

How 'bout a (2000-2005 sister car) forum?
