Default GP/GTP and Bonneville NA/SSEi

This might be a repost.

I was wondering if the 97-03 GTP and the 96-99 SSEi would be a good challenge stocck for stock. Will the SSEi be beat or will it win? I alreasdy know what the NA Bonneville can do with an NA 3800 GP. I raced my aunts car and won.

GTP weighs a lot less then an SSEi... so yes it does have an advantage there

GP will beat N/A and GTP will beat */C Bonnies if they're launched right and in the same shape everytime. You got lucky

Adding a straight downpipe will just put you closer to bonneville power levels. They're slightly more restrictive on flow on each side of the motor, but they're PCM is less aggressive in the torque managment area then the bonneville.
