Playing with chemicals again!
Decided to drive the SSEi this morning, as I need gas, but it was so low I was nervous about getting to work and then to gas as I left before the nearby stations opened. (left for work before 5am, live out in the boonies).
So I figured what the hell? I've got 2 gallons of toluene sitting there. I have 3 gallons of 87 octane in a can.
So I did the mixing and dumped it in with what I had in the tank and came to work. Now I'm sitting here thinking. What'* my octane?
3 gallons of 92 octane were in the tank. My 'mix' works out to 100.6 octane (3 gallons of 87 and 2 gallons of Toluene). Combined, I'm sitting at 97.38 octane right now.
I think I'll hit the gas station on the way home. That'll get me down to 95 octane.

I live out on the edge of town with only one gas station that opens at 6am between me and work. I'm 2 miles from town, but in a rural/suburban mixed area.
Moving this weekend to more 'public' digs.

hehe 97 octane, your car will love you for it.
I have to say though Bill, were you are now, tucked down that little alley way off the main road is quite nice, and almost unique, somewere I'd like to live, thats for sure.

Holy (@)$#(*&@#)% Mother of God! There'* some power in this beast with high octane. The 97 is simply amazing, but I just diluted it down to 95 so we'll see.
Miserable weather today, zero traction. The power couldn't have come at a worse time.
