Has anyone re-used aluminum LIM gaskets?
Has anyone one the club had occasion to re-use their new-style aluminum LIM gaskets?
(In a related question, any chance the rubber end seals can be re-used?)

I was going to do this, but upon closer inspection I noticed that the silicone part of the gasket had a few splits or cracks... I'm sure I could have reused them, but I wasn't going to put my trust into them... So I bought new ones

Yup...sure did on motor #2. They held find for all 10 miles of it'* life. No signs of them leaking. Clean the RTV off the end seals and bottoms as best you can and if they look good., go for it.
My second set on the spur of the moment..cost $70 from a local stealership.
