Default I never knew I would love heated seats this much

So once I finally put my GXP seats in a few months ago I said ok this was enough for now, I'll hook the heated seats up later...

after freezing my a** off when I got into my car which had cooled down to the outside temperature of 22F I said yah time to hook all that up

spent 3 and a half hours tearing the center console apart, adding 2 pins to the wiring harness of the RIM, added a wires from the fuse block for ignition power and one for battery power, ran 4 wires inbetween the switch in the center console and seat connector, add all that up and what do you get...? A very warm behind while driving, took a 5 minute ride to test it out and I love it

now I just have to run 4 more wires from the switch to the passenger seat and 4 from the drivers seat to the passenger seat since I already ran the wires to there

I had heated seats in a Bravada I had, loved it except the few times in the summer when I bumped the switch and sat there wondering why my back side is getting wet. The switch was in a stupid place that made bumping it very easy. Now I'm wishing I had heated seats.

last winter was not fun, we had a few days in the negatives and with all leather seats my behind went numb, the suede inserts aren't too bad now

It was all totally worth it, the only part that sucked was adding pins into the connector of the RIM

I love my heated seats. It'* nice. First car I've owned with them.

Now if I could just get them to be cooled as well like the new GM vehicles have.

Cooled seats aren't all they're cracked up to be. I used to drive an Eddie Bauer Expedition with them and thought they were ok, nothing great

The cooled seats are cool, but the leather doesnt get that hot in the summer, what I wish I had was a heated steering wheel like GM has done on some Cadillacs
