why do you think it'* a "gold edition". Pontiac has never offered a "Gold Edition" vehicle. Is there an aftermarket badge stuck on it somewhere that says "gold edition"?

Well john it does have to emblems on the rear roof pillars,gold anidized rims and gold pinstriping.
Seems like a lot of trouble to just add on.

It'* a dealer package used to sell the car quicker. GM had nothing to do with it. Most likely the rims came on the car, the dealer added the badges, and probably the pinstriping.

yea, I had a white Bonneville with gold lace rims and I put gold pinstriping on it right above the black. it looked good.
hard to tell from the pic.. I wish now I had taken more shots of it.
