How do you clean your chrome wheels?

My 2000 SSEi has some nasty brake dust or something that appears at first glance to be rust...but it will come off if I use mineral spirits and a ton of elbow grease...anyone know of a product that cleans this stuff off easily? It's on all four wheels but much more prevalent on the front wheels. They are the chromed factory wheels. Thanks in advance.

The turtle wax rim cleaner is really good, make sure you get the cleaner not the tire shine because the bottles look similar and I've done it a bunch of times

I used Magic Erasers on mine to clean the front wheels when I got the car. It worked awesome!! Changed the front pads to a ceramic and I hardly get any brake dust.....plus I wash it every other day! No time to collect brake dust:w3
