Default pulley swap

Will a ZZPerformance pulley fit(or be made to fit) a South Florida Pulley hub ?
I ask this because with gas hitting $4 a gal. here in Cailf. i would like to limit the boost and maybe squeeze a few more miles out of a gal. of gas. I think the 3.3" pulley won't go on the car this summer except for the track. ZZPerformance makes a 4" and 4.2" pulley that would lower the boost and i think, would get me a few more MPG. It took $71.24 to fill my tank, that was 17.85 gallon'*. We use 16 to 20 gallon'* in Cindys car and give Rodney jr. a $40 gas card plus what ever i use in my truck(not much) and my motorcycle every week and it'* getting damm expensive($130 a week).

Just don't press the throttle down as far if you don't want boost. That'* a freebie.

You could also just remove the SC belt.

I bought my Interchangeable Supercharger Pulley and hub 6 years ago and have not had any problems with them, i would buy them again.

I don't press the throttle hard now, i am looking to get more MPG. If you take the */c belt off my car it gets worse gas mileage and a Yugo would beat it in a race. :?

the Dial_Ur_Boost system will not work with the ZZP or INTENSE pullies.

I wouldn't take off the BC belt either, the rotors will cause an air restriction.

Your best solution is to stay out of the throttle.

OK, you tell that to my wife and see what she tells you. hahaha
When we have the 3.3" pulley on, the gas mileage drops about 3 mpg with the cruise control on and that is on a flat road, if you get into the mountain'* the mpg'* drop a lot more than 5 mpg'* over the 3.8" pulley. That is why i would like to get a 4" or 4.2" pulley, to see if the car will get better mpg with a larger pulley. I got an e-mail from SFPH and they will make me a pulley any size i want for $20 more than there standard pulley.

Guess you want my variable-boost design back on the block?

I designed one some time ago for the Series 2, but had no takers.

Bill, I don't remember that post .
Must have been a while ago.
BTW, what is the cost of gas up there?
Diesel is up to $4.39 a gallon here. Glad i don't have a big rig now.
Gas(last week) is $3.79 to $4.12 a gallon for premium in Sacramento at the station'* around my neighborhood.

$3.50 to $3.60 range around here. Not sure what'* going to happen when they dump the corn in at the end of the month.
