Default Stock vs. Modified??

Hello, all. New member here. Great site! I've owned my Bonne SSE since new (1993) and have always thought I'd keep it stock (more traditional). Now that I'm reading about all the after market changes that can be made, I'm rethinking my choice.

Any thoughts on stock vs. modified?

Thanks.

Angel

Modified will always be better.. it all comes down to how much $$ you got to spend into it. check out Techinfo.. they have great assortments of mods and things you would want to mod first to ensure the reliability of your car and engine before gettin into HP Torque mods... welcome to this site.. one of the best I"ve been in

Yes, the eternal question. To mod or not to mod?
There are "non-performance" mods that everyone here would highly recommend, like a tranny cooler and 180 t-stat. Other things are up to you and your pocketbook. One thing point though, people will generally shy away from buying a modified car because that is usually a sign that it has been beaten the snot out of.

If you plan on keeping your car till it dies then I say, why not add a few toys on? This is one car that no one expects to be stomped by! :P

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I'm one of the weirdos around here who keeps the car almost completely stock.

Well PERFORMANCE does cost some $$$$$ after all! But the good news is: MODIFIED will always be better than non-modified!
