the engine backfired and the manifold basically was torn apart from the backfire.

What the hell! Did rats with mini pick-axes go after that or what?

i looked around that site and couldn't quite find it...

anyhew, it just looks off to me - things like half of the fuel rail is missing... and how dirty the thing is...
just kinda looks like someone broke it apart - i mean, where that fuel line (the one running over the intake) is broken, it's a clean break, and i just have my doubts that a ruptured intake would be able to tear apart the line like that..

maybe i'm just too cynical, but something just strikes me as off...

matt

<edit> and would a backfire really do that to the *whole* length of the manifold? i mean, that thing is split open several inches from front to back...
