So about what year are we talking for this Caddy? I took on a early '90'* STS once and just blew it away. At 90 I had it by over 2 car lenghts. I could hear that v8 reveing thru the gears but it just couldn't push as hard as the 3800 SC under my hood.

Good kill!

My ex has a 95 Sedan DeVille with the Northstar. It was an even heat with my Z71. I haven't raced my Bonneville against her Cad, but I know my Bonneville easily beats my Z, so it'* a foregone conclusion. That 98 Z71 was no slouch, and neither is the Northstar. The Sedan DeVille is heavier than the STS, but I don't know by how much. Looks like a pimp car. Glad she'* driving it.

whoa man, you ditched a cadillac, those things are super fast, if you can beat a cadillac you can ditch anything out there, man, cadillacs are 100% pure race bred from the ground up. Im stunned, how could you ever pull off such a feat?!?!?!

The Bonnevilles regularly Ditch the Northstars. We have a weight advantage, but the Bonneville really excels from a rolling start. They may take us off the line from time to time, but we walk from about 1/8 mile on. Welcome to the world of Buick race-built engines.

Take that Bonneville you just won out on the street and see what we're talking about.
