lol GM REALLY LOVES WHITE! I work at a dealership and out sales manager was telling us about a time when he first started that he placed an order for a few cars and a month after he got them in he recieved a shipment for a matching replacement of ALL the cars he ordered, except they all came in WHITE! he hadnt sold many of the white ones the first time so 3/4 of the dealership was WHITE VEHICLES!!! hehe... made me crack up anyways
but yes yes yes
so grab a camera phone if necessary and go snap some photos

I used to work for Avis Rent a Car and most of the fleet was white. Or GOLD. I bet we had a million gold Malibus later Classics in the fleet. One year we got a huge run of purple LeSabres.

white cars are popular because white is a timeless color.... there will always be white cars and it keeps cars from looking dated. for example, the early 90'* had teal cars...now no cars are teal. the early 2000'* had yellow cars... not anymore. white has been around since the beginning of the automotive industry and will remain forever.

White, Black and Silver/Gray are the colors that I believe have been around for more years that any other in the car color category.
I think probably Red and Blue were next...at least in the sport cars....then add the White, Black or Silver/Gray stripes.
