DP lowering spring ??'*
Hey all, Ive read the post by Custom,( Im sure custom will figure out who this is ) regarding all the hassles with Domestic Performance. I was wondering if anyone here had ordered their springs? Ive spoke with Ty regarding my application, ( non bonne) and he states he can make any weight, any height spring I want. Does anyone know who his spring supplier is? Is there a way to contact them directly? I dont want to skip on Ty, I just dont want to drop $400us on springs only to have them not be what I want or worse, not get them at all.
Thanks for any info.

Talk to smellbird. He'* got the DP springs, and is quite happy with them. Ty'* supplier is a local shop (to him) as far as I know.
A one-off application is going to be tough $$. What car are you talking about?

He also put new struts in with new suspension hardware when he installed them so to do it properly you'll want new sway bar bushing, strut'*, strut plates and bearings, and possibly tie-rod ends.

So do you know his supplier or at least who actually makes the springs? How quickly did the transaction take? Was he easy to contact and are your springs custom ( as in did you request a specific weight or height? Thanks in advance for answers. BTW, it for an H body.

He gave me the name of the company that made them, but I don't remember what it was.
It took about 6-8 days once the product was shipped out, I was the very first to order springs from Ty. I just got the Street Lowering springs, 2" drop, nothing fancy.
