Torque wrench
I have a Snap-on torque wrench that I had not used in a while. I caught up with a Snap-on truck yesterday and had it checked. He must have been in a good mood, because he did not charge me for having it done. I later tested my cheapy (used for wheels and lives in the trunk from time to time) against the snap on and found it almost 10lbs off 
I now have it dialed in at 110 ft/lbs but actually it torques to 100.
btw the snap on was only out by a half pound and the salesman has every thing to calibrate it.

Nice.....But don't leave them set when you're not using them. Always back them back down to 0. Other wise you ruin them.

Ya there'* a spring in there that holds tension and when you set the amount of tq. you want, the spring compresses, and if you don't release the setting all the way back done to 0 that spring starts to stay compressed.

yeah ya have to treat your Tq wrenche right...always reset to 0 i do it even if i am going to lunch for 30 minutes...

this round out my collection..
i have 2 dial type (gold cert) one a 1/4 inch and the other 3/8 drive (i set up more than a few rearends...damn bearing preload
)
along with a Buffalo 1/4 inch 750 inch pounder (clicker)from my gramps that i had tested and it was only 4% off not bad for a well maintained 20 year old Tq wrench...
soo now i have a 50-250 ftlb 1/2 inch drive....
now i just need to buy the MAC digital tq angle meter get rid of my damn dial one that dont do **** when tqing ls1 heads in an Fbody or otherwise...
