Hey read this...quite funny

I go into the GM dealership this am to check and see if they have the SC oil just to know that they have it in stock for when I need it...so I talked to the guy behind the counter, and he showed me the bottle and told me the price...then he called a mechanic over without my request and starting trying to get him to tell me where to access the oil...So Im like ya ya, there is a hex nut you have to get into under the plastic....and continued quoting what Will has written in the techinfo...HAHAHA...the mechanic instantly shut up and looked at the guy behind the counter and told him..."Shes knows what she is talking about" and continued on with his work....like as if ...why did you call me over??? HEHE...Made me feel really great...no wait, made me feel awesome and made that idiot who assumed I knew nothing look like a stereotypical jerk! HAHAHA jokes looks good on him. Now this just drives me to learn more!

Anyways, this must sound really mean how I state this, but honestly women do get treated like dirt lots of times, and make ya feel really low. I have been there...now I can have a bit of fun razzin them! I do say I look forward to my next visit...har har har

you get 'em, Kimmers! Thats hilarious! I love seeing that happen. They never bother to ASK if you need help. You think that was bad? Try going to buy a gun sometime. I bet the find the tiniest litte freakin pea-shooter under the counter. Never fails. My ex could handle my .45 almost as well as I could, but she'd never be shown one at a gun store. Same stigma.

Glad you had fun......and you haven't even changed the oil yet!

LOL...ummmm, its cold out...I bet you have a nice heated garage to work in! Its bloody cold out there right now. I know I sound like a wuss. I do things better under pressure. Give me a deadline (something reasonable) and Id have it done...like lets say before the end of the weekend...Hows that?!~

Yeah Kimmers,

And the more you learn, the less people will take advantage of you. I know it is more common with women customers, but some mechanics take advantage of everyone that doesn't know where the dip stick or air filter is. My father-in-law blindly took his GP in for some work at a "reputable" mechanic. The guy took advantage ($800 USD) for a chain reaction of repairs that started with a $30 oil change. (An oil change for $30.00 is bad enough, but every time that car went in, it came out with something else that "needed" replacing).

We reported the mechanic to the BBB (Better Business Bureau), but they are still in business. My father-in-law won't trust me to fix his car until it is too expensive to have done at a mechanic. He is getting better at trusting me.

I see what your getting at...some ppl have no morals! I couldnt be in a business where im out to screw ppl every day. I actually own my own business and have lost some money directly because of my morals and standards...I have to live with myself the rest of my life, and if I am true to myself, noone can bring me down!
I think the good guy wins in the longrun! Sorry to hear what happened....maybe he should let you work on his car...lol!
