Gold Edition Bonneville
I drove next to one this evening on the expressway. It was a 93-95. Dark green with tan leather and ghetto golds (looked exactly like Bill'*). On the doors it said "Gold Edition" where the "Bonneville SE" badge would be on a 92.
How many of these were made?
Is this an upgrade of an SLE...maybe something more than an SLE, but less than an SSE?

Yeah, there are two in Sauk Centre -one is a black 1995 SLE and the other is my friends old 1995 SLE. My old 1994 SLE (currently owner by CSFiend here on BC) was a gold package car but didn't have the mouldings in the bumper and upper grooves on the outside door cladding or the gold emblem, but it had the reciept and folder for the Gold Package in the glove box.
Gold package items:
Gold grille trim ring
Gold center grill Pontiac emblem
Gold "PONTIAC" emblem on trunklid
Gold Edition with Gold leaf around Pontiac arrowhead a front of front doors
Gold tape striping in grooves around knee-line of car.

These aren't 'rare'. They didn't exist. This is an aftermarket owner/dealer thing, nothing more. Pontiac never produced these as an option.
Translation: Someone other than the factory bought the accessories and stuck them on.

I agree...need more info. I googled it and didn't get any hits.
I agree that they are rare, but I'm not sure that they never existed. The one I saw looked authentic, but then again it could be aftermarket...
Who'* got leads at Pontiac to get this confirmed?
