Hard starting

I have a 95 2500 with a 350 under the hood. Sometimes it will start fine when it's a cold start up, but if I shut it off and run in somewhere and come back out to start it again it cranks for a longer period of time than normal. Seems like a fuel issue because it hesitates a little and runs a little weak for maybe 5 seconds and then lines out jus fine... I basically jus use this truck for work...I bought it about 2 weeks ago for kind of a beater to keep the miles off of my other truck. Got any idea's? Oh and I changed the fuel filter last week and put some injector cleaner in the tank

those trucks are the worst to try to work on because they got all the obd-2 sensors and circuits to break but you need a special obd1.5 scanner to see whats going on. i would start by checking to see if the fuel pressure is good but again you need a special adapter to put the gauge on. did you check see spark or check the plugs/wires/cap/rotor condition?

Looks like it needs some plugs and wires, but had to put a new battery in it yesterday. Seemed to help so far, but I'm still gunna check the fuel pressure at work sometime this week. Thanks for the idea's man.

You should also check the fuel pressure regulator.
