Default Fog light troubles

I have a 2000 pontiac bonneville in which my fog lamps are not lighting up. The bulbs are not burned out but they still will not light up. I think something somewhere is disconnected because the fuse is not burned out. Wondering if someone could give a location of some key connecting points where i could check the wiring. Thanks

Check for corrosion at the socket. Also check to see if you have voltage. Did you check the fuses on the firewall? There should be a maxifuse box there. Check those as well. It way sound stupid of me to ask, but is the switch on? Does the switch light up?

I checked the fuses and they are all good.. The switch is on however i have no voltage so the problem must be between the light bulb and battery... any suggestions as to where i should check

If both lights are out, that makes me think the problem is in the switch. Otherwise if it was a wiring problem only one light should be effected.

does your DRL'* work? if not the DRLs and foglights are on the same fuse, does your foglight indicater illuminate? Check the fuse box first.
