Default Realization...Never raced my Bonnie!

Wierdest thing I just realized when reading all these stories. I have never raced my Bonnie!

I always read about events on forums like this, hear stories from my friends racing people downtown, see other cars on the 4 lane road in town drag at night, but I myself have never been in the possition. I'm surrounded with it so much that I just dont know if I've raced or not. Until today.

This is so wierd its scary.

"Why?", is the question. I listen to a friend of mine talk day in and day out about him stop light racing Ford Probes and Eagle Talons in his Beretta. Don't get me wrong, I find it entertaining and all, but why have I never been in a race? No one EVER reved their engine at me, no one ever talked *$&# to me/car, no one flew past me at 80mph, hell I can't recall if anyone has ever passed me on a 2 lane country road in the past month!

I'm not bragging or boasting, just confused. Should I start making enemies and reving my engine at the guy next to me at stop lights? :?

Don't rev, don't even look at 'em. Just blow their freakin doors off and make 'em wonder what the hell happened.

HAHA! Good advice!

I swear though its so odd. Believe me, if you saw my bonnie you would be revin' all over it. I have decals all up the windows (yeah can be ugly, but it'* my last attempt to get ppl to race me, lol).

You'll hear the talk....JRs3800 swears each sticker adds 20hp. He learned it from the ricer'*. You'd be surprised what the NA Bonnevilles can do. Some of these guys have turned their cars into true beasts. You're well on your way already. Hell, you've modded beyond most of 'em. I wish my SSEi had all your stuff. Hey, where'd you get your headlight covers and how much were they? They look like they'd add at least 30hp

LOL, yea u will have the "ricers" who think a few stickers, 3 foot aluminium wing, paint and maybe some ground effects (Most infact) or u might pull up to one of the few guys running 18 PSi out of a Toyota Supra Turbo.

I just looked at your signature. Don't feel bad with the ricer comments around here. Take 'em in stride, and remember, you're only 25% ricer

LOL!! I have respect for almost all make and model cars.. but now if the posser driving just has a sticker, a K & N, calls it modified and is shooting his/her mouth off about horse power. I then loose repect. Thats well over half the "ricers" do. They slap a wing/ neon and parts that "look" cool and say it adds 30 hp. It gives anyone with a forigen car a bad name...and well..fast and the furious didnt help any either.

Go man! You have a helluva car to start with. Look up BadSSEi on here. Scott Cook. 12.192 1/4 mile. No ****. 2000 SSEi. #2 guy on clubgrandprix. Makes those GP guys really respect the possibilities. That gives you something to shoot for, and something to suck your cash out of your pocket
