Default New new new

Somedays I swear this car is trying to drain my bank account faster than a girlfriend....

Recently I had a stalling issue with under 4 gallons of fuel in the tank I thought the silly car liked piggy back rides until I figured out what was happening.

Got a new gas tank ($7 and installed it last Friday.
Put gas in it and the gauge reads a big ole fat E

Got a new sender today ($179 AC Delco baby) and installed it tonight (no exhaust drop )
Put almost 5 gallons back in it and the gauge didn't move :?
Turned the key back and forward again, gauge worked

Got the tank under 3 gallons and stabbed the brakes a few times.. DIDN'T stall...

I'm back in the game after $300 this week

Oddly enough...I couldn't find anything wrong with the old tank...or the sender.

But replacing them, which was logical in both (both were rusty enough).. magically fixed them.

It should be noted that I set a pb on pulling and swapping the parts out.

Went easy.. jacked up the car.. undid the velcro and out came the tank..undid the other velcro and the sender was out. Applied velcro the new piece and pushed it all back together.

I'm getting good enough I could probably take most categories..

Pulling a motor is only 2 hours.

and..BTW..I don't really have velcro holding things on my car.. in case any newbs want to try it....please don't.

Hopefully your stalling issues are gone and never to return!

Good job on fixing the problem, now you can enjoy the full power of the dark side.

Bring your guy..I'll bring money. ps.. The bet is on 92-99'*..lol

Rusty, crusty, crappy motor mounts... and fuel senders that require tank dropping.
