Steering rack differences
Ok, sanity check today. Both Lilpooky and I both drove the 93 and the 95 today. Althought both have FE2 and SHOULD have the same rack, the 93'* steering is MUCH tighter in a GOOD way. Noticably so. What gives? These two cars SHOULD steer the same, but even at 55mph in a straightaway, you can tell the difference easily.

Is it possible that the rack has ever been replaced in the SLEeper? I think I read somewhere that although the rack is the same in the H-body family, the valving is different. In other words, tighter for the bonnies, more "floaty" for the Lesabre'*, etc. Whenever they are replaced with a 3rd party part and the core is sent in, they get "lumped" into a pile and you never really know which you get. At least this is by best guess, barring any difference from 93 to 95'*.

I think on the 95 Its just Variable effort, and the system makes no changes to the ratio...
In a couple of days or so I should have more info on it...
