Happiness is...
A clean throttle body. But what a PITA it turned out to be. That bracket the runs from behind the exhaust up to the throttle body is right in the wayu of every damned thing, ain't it?
I meant to grab a couple of pictures, and remembered that fact right after the throttle body cleaner washed off all the black gunk..
But, she'* all nice and clean finally, and I got new front speakers to boot!
Oh yeah, is that white crap inside the door fiberglass? My fingers still itch like they are full of thorns.

The entire interior of the door panels is covered with a white, cloth like, material. I didn't have to touch the door itsef (the plastic sheeting and whatnot)

I don't believe it to be fiberglass... maybe a distant cousin though.
Yeah..I love that bracket as well
Best you can hope for is to loosen it off the TB side .. turn it counterclockwise and hope the bolt into the intake loosens for you.

Of course, that'* the one size wrench I ain't got...
All in all, it wasn't that tough of a project. I might have messed up one of the safety torx screws on that third sensor (not the MAF or TPS), but everything went back together, and she seems to run just fine.
But you folks who pull the TB multiple times per year just to clean it are nuts!!
