Temp of air depends on a few things. If you have a thermometer, stick it in the vent. 50-60 is about right, however if you aren't satified because the others get colder...then have the level of freon checked. It might need a little added.

Always consult a professional or the manual for the proper pressures.

When working at peak, your A/C should be plenty cold and be as good as theirs. You may want to have it checked out. I just recently had to replace the compressor on mine. Prior to that it had slowly been cooling less and less.

95 should be the R134A system. As far as I know, it'* still the most common system out there.

1995 was the first year automakers were mandated by the EPA to discontinue use of R12. Most 94s even have R134a.

This is actually more of a misconception. A properly running 134A will get just as cold. I've had both systems on many vehicles and it all depends on the condition of the system and level of freon charge.

Do we test that on Max AC or regular AC? The thermometer test.

Kick it on Max and recirculate. That is how you would be running when it'* the hottest out. And I would check it on a good hot day as well.
