I say we should do it in the Quad Cities area, which is two cities in Iowa and two cities in Illinois with the mighty Mississippi in between. Cordova dragstrip is only a few minutes from the Quad Cities on the Illinois side, and it'* nearly a central location in the US.
We could get some track time at Cordova (which also happens to be near a nuclear power plant... go figure) and maybe do a dyno day. It'* quite a metro area with all four cities together, plus some other outlying communities. It would be a great time!
Here'* the link for Cordova. It'* not some rinky-dink track; it'* the real deal!

EDIT: Here'* a link to a map of the Quad Cities area... in the upper righthand corner you can see Cordova, and in the top-center is the small community of Eldridge, where I know for sure there is a performance shop with a Dynojet.

i say we do a vote. and let it run for a few months. just to see what kinda reaction we get from the members. cause not just one person can make this decision.
