so ive got 36000 miles on the odo. not due for an oil change, but with oil changes every 3k miles, i figure i may as well even the score to an easy multiple. brakes are still good (formerly glazed over, but not anymore), coolant is a little low.

when i go in for an oil change, what other maintenance should i get done?

whats the quickest way to communicate this gamut of maintenance to the person im talking to, and which ones are unnecessary?

Print and highlight would probably be the best way to communicate it. And most of that list is "Ispect xxx" That will tell you waht you need done.

Body lubrication would be hinges and such
Cassette deck hopefully don't apply, but run a cleaning tape and/or blow some air through it
Chassis = Lube Job

Be very careful when you ask them do do all that you want done. I work at a ford dealership and that is one thing some service advisors dont realize people dont know. It will cost you to get all that done chassis lube and rotate and inspections of any sort . some people get a big surprise when they get there bill and its $$$ above what they were expecting.

I just found that you should change your cassette deck at 160,000 as a maintenance item, lol. J/K

Use the list that MOS posted as a Potential List of things to do. Know the status of wht you've had done before and don't just do stuff if it'* not due. Though it is your money.

i havent done a thing to it. three oil changes is all, since i bought it.
