Default Exhaust Help Please

Heres the problem I want a good sounding, better flowing exhaust system. I dont really want the Flowmaster 80 series. I am looking for a single inlet, outlet, not duals. I have a budget of $250 to get it (when I get my return that is). What do you guys think? Also for muffler, where, what kind, how much. I have the N/A so I dont need 3" duals. Thanks in advance
Dan

Why not the upgrade to the dual???...They look and will perform better than the single/single set-up...

Cost is my major issue. You need extra piping and clamps to run a dual setup.

under $30 in tubing and clamps for sure

i put mine on for $170
muffler, tips, 90 mandrel bends and random clamps

we did installation ourselves, but you could find some cheaper tips and definately be under the $250 i would think

thats not too bad. I am replacing everything from the cat clear back. The cat will be the only orig. part left.

r u staying the stock size (2.25")??

i wouldn't get any bigger with some major mods to back it up.

most opinions around here say upgrading the cat and muffler is about the best setup for performance exhaust, unless you're pushing some big time mods.

if you want to save money, why not just replace the cat and the muffler?

My whole exhaust is getting pretty rusty. Also the cat is staying, not planning on anything with the cat, just from the cat back.
