Well.... I told him to
Over the weekend, I'm touching up the carroof gutters with RTV. My 12 yr old grand nephew comes over to the house....
"What are you doing, Uncle Charlie?"
"Just some preventative stuff. Filling in seams so no water gets in the car."
"Can I help?"
" Yeah, I have to take your aunt and Mom to the store. We'll be back in an hour. Pull the step ladder over. Just run a tiny little bead around the top areas. Use your finger, so you can't even see it. See how I ran it across the top of the backwindow?"
"Yep."
"OK. Good. Make sure you don't miss any of the EDGES ON TOP. The littlest opening around the windshield and the water will run in."
Came home later, and he had done a really tidy job. "Good job. get goin'. your Mom is waiting to go."
It was going to rain today, so i wanted to check the sunroof channels. I really hadn't wiped them out since i got the car.
Hit the switch. Motor engaged. Didn't move.
Perfectly glued shut.
