....she'* done.

Jinx finally had enough. She let me know this when I started tracing down a low-frequency knock. Traced it to what I think is #6 piston. She acts and sounds just like what Boozies car sounded like...so I know that'* not a good sign.

So what to do now? Well, she isn't the only one that had enough. I've burned through so much cash on this car, it isn't even funny.. So, I've decided once and for all to part her out. Most of the good parts that I bought is going to go to the '94 SSE, and I may very well do the HUD upgrade to it as well (it will defintately get the AL7s). What I do sell on here is going to go to the next project...whatever it may be.

Fare thee well Jinx....

Very sorry to hear that. I don't know what I would do if mine started to knock after all I have stuck into it. I am already wondering if I should keep fixing it or just drive it till it'* subframe comes apart. Lol. Well I will call dibs on that 2.2" pulley, and injectors should you decide to sell them.

It'* still driveable as-is. In fact, I took it for another blast down the road after I took that video. This pi$$er though is the money that got dumped into it in the past few months alone. In fact, I now have an HP Tuner that is utterly useless to me now (No support at all for the 06 Malibu 3500...they support the other motors, but not the 3500 non-VVT).

Of course, Karen just shook her head and said "no more". She will let me have the SSE if she can get something else...something with a sunroof, heated seats, and leather. We may look for another Malibu LTZ, though not a Maxx...and not a new one. In any event, we HAVE to get a third vehicle soon...Alyssa the Hellspawn gets her license in June, and she needs a car for work...so she can GET work.
