How many people would be interested in buying an intake for their Bonneville? I have one on my car and I could mass reproduce them for not too much money w/ some options avaiable. I'll post some pics of my intake and the more people that wish to buy, the cheaper it can be. It'* just an idea I have. And please no flaming on whose is better...

When you say intake do you mean Cold Air Induction and do you have any pictures of what it would look like?

On the CAI ummmmmm, on my 92 SSE, have tons of room for custom made CAI. Just remove the old air-box, and hoses and plan what angle you need to bend your tube and she` fits fine . Will send pics when project is completed.

Well.. in the spring.. I'm planning on doing a FWI ( Fender Well Intake ).. remove the old airbox and have to cut a hole ( where the old airbox use to sit ) and pipe it down there.. I haven't taken a close look to ensure that no water or debris get thrown at it from the tires... what are your opinion on this ?? Would it be better than just running it to where the old airbox is and building a heat shield around it ?? I believe however with both system.. you might have to remove it in winter time :( .. so I might just keep my setup for now and find an aluminum tubing to fit between the airbox and TB to get rid of that dumb accordian tubing..

I am looking at doing a FWI, as well. I removed the accordian tubing already and have used a 45 degree bend of 3" PVC. This worked very well as the bend is very smooth internally. I had to drill a port for the air temp sensor to fit into, but that'* easy to do. My 9" K&N fits nicely over the one end and is clamped with a standard 3" hose clamp. I am going to replace this 45 with a 3" straight into the 45, then into a CAI box that will hold my 9" K&N. The FWI will start low, then run to the top of the box with a 45 at the top to stop any water from getting into the system. A piece of chicken wire (lo-tec solutions, Inc. ) at the top of the box will stop any debris from entering. You could use a smaller screen if you wanted, but then you start restricting air flow. I will take many pics as I get started with mine and post them with DETAILED instructions so everyone else can hook this up!
