Default NEWSFLASH! (problem solved on page 3)

Guess what? The Zilla doesn't have roller rockers. Never really paid attention, as I didn't have a reason to.

GM clearly calls out the 93-95 heads and valve train as identical, but MINE is NOT. Case in point:

Yet I just verified the Zilla has NO roller rockers. No bearings whatsoever.
Proof:

Zilla'* rockers:

SLEeper'*:
Name: rocker3.jpg

Size: 43.5 KB
Name: rocker4.jpg

Size: 47.6 KB
See the bearing?

Now for the help part. I need as many 93 and 94 L27 and L67 owners to take the same pics I did on the SLE. I also need to know the production date for your car listed on the driver'* side door jamb.

ALL 93'* may NOT be roller-valvetrains. Some of them may be roller LIFTER ONLY.
In a sense, this is encouraging, considering the power I've achieved with the 'older' valvetrain. I simply never paid attention. But the bad news is I need to find a set of 94/95 L67 or 94 L27 heads ASAP!

Wow, that'* weird, I figured they'd all be the same. I think mine is a late 93 production. I'll go snap some pics!

Well, Zilla'* look just like White Whine'*, for what I can tell. And just like the rockers I sold off my 93 SE heads, IIRC. I'm pissed that I don't have the right heads for the YT rockers I have.

Hey, if I'm reading that right, it indicates all Series I 93-95 have the same heads, but it leaves 93 L67 out of the rocker listing...

GM lists the 93 L67 rocker as unique and the L27 rocker as 93-95.

89 or 88 to 92 all shared a different rocker.

I cannot get a good pic like you have of the 95.

Mine do not look like either of yours exactly, but, with an accurate flashlight I can see a hex head on mine as you have on Zilla. So I'd say I do not have rollers either :? :(

Production date on mine is 11/93.

Can you get a pic of the guideplate where you can see it through the oil filler? Between 3 and 5. I wanna see if it looks like my 92. Do they look the same between the 93 and 95?
