is the ford 3.8 L even close to ours? im looking for another tranny and there is a Lincoln that has a rebuilt one with 3K on it. This may sound dumb but i fugured ide ask anyway

I don't know much about the Ford 3.8, but the torque output is pretty similar to our motors, with less hp, I think. Oh, and they love to blow head gaskets

There was a post a while ago about this.

The Ford 3.8 has an overhead cam design. It doesn't last nearly as long as ours.
