Fog lamp bulbs

any one know of a higher wattage foglamp bulb for the 00 sle it currently has a 27 watt 880 bulb in there. I'm looking for something as bright as a regular lowbeam, i have h.i.d. low beams and they totally out shine foglamps to the point they mine as well be off.

I put in the Sylvania Silver Star Ultra 880ST in my 00 SSEi and they work really well. Unless you change out the entire light assembly, I would not recommend using a higher watt bulb with the current wiring harness and bulb assembly. The extra wattage will fatigue the wires and the extra heat will crack the bulb assembly.

i put a 50 watt 885 in and they seem to be working fine so far

885's are a good upgrade bulb.

Silverstars do work very well, some people say they burn out quicker... but I never had any problems with them in my fogs back when I had my '95 SE.
