with the ignition key in "run" or "accessory" position , hit the "on" button in the trunk, to the right of the trunk latch. if you don't hear the compressor run, you have a problem. We can further diagnose from there. Also search for "elc" , there are plenty of posts on this.

didn't see your year, please put in your profile. 92-95 doesn't require a key on to work, 96-99 do.

This isn't a mechanical problem. Moved to General Chat.

There should be an air hose with guage in your accesory kit, you can use it to fill tires. very handy

Mine has been in 3 times to get it fixed it still doesnt work currently at GM right now. What are the benefits to having it? Just filling up tires and footballs?

yup, behind the right rear wheel. on the 92-99, there is a selector valve that directs air either to the rear shocks or the valve in the rear deck.. I imagine the 2k'* are the same , just can't say for sure. when you hit the on button, do you hear a click? that is the relay the moves the selctor valve. if you don't , you might have a bad relay, or no power to it.

Right and wrong. It'* in different places on both of his cars. On his 95, it'* under the hood.
