Nice one :D You are right about the break in period. I have seen a couple one the street here in Chicago. I havent a chance to race on yet but the GP Comp G got a taste of my L67 I though

how bad was the eating?? lol. ..i never run into many GM cars that have people willing to race in them... always the ricers.. :( they get boring after a while. BTW, yesterday a 1998 riced toyota corolla raced me... no comment. ..i feel bad :)

Y'know, that's a brand new car. I don't think I'd be driving it like that if I just bought it.

i think ther is a 1-5k mile "break in" period on new cars. If I had just dropped $20k+ I would baby the hell out of it.
Yes, but thats no fun. The day we brought the GTP home we ordered a 3.4 Pulley and CAI and it was on the next week with only 300 miles on the clock. We also beat the shit out of it before that. Then between 15 & 18k it got everything it has now. And the SSEi we beat the shit out of too when it was brand new, it didn't have a pulley until 20,000 miles, and no other mods until like 60k, but still. And it seems to be running very well with 89,000 miles on the clock. I have heard of all of this proper break in crap, but we haven't ever had a problem breaking them in with the pedal on the floor so far, so why change now?

Just my opinion.

Sweet kill man. we have alot of monte's around here, none supercharged though. I see more ssei's then I do monte's supercharged. Never had the pleasure of racing a monte. Hope I get to soon though. Don't know how much of a chance I would have considering my bonnie is unsupercharged. But hey I have beaten some cars that I shouldn't of beaten so I might actually have a shot. Good work.
