Default First 04 MC SS kill? L67 II vs. L67 I!

Out prowling in the area I filmed 'whine envy' in, and came upon the telltale taillights of a MCSS. As I got closer (in a 35), I noticed the high rear spoiler....on a red car, but didn't see any unique badging on the back. The houses disappeared, and the speed limit opened up to 55 for a long straight stretch past the golf course. I dropped the hammer and took the oncoming lane (clear for at least 2 miles) in the dark. He saw my intentions, and dropped it too. As I came up along his driver'* side, I saw the Supercharged badge on his lower rear quarterpanel. I walked on him.

My only regret is that there was more light, but I think he saw enough to realize he'd been eaten by an SSEi.....with a #3 and a #8 sticker in the rear window.

That'* one Monte owner who will be in search of mods.......it'* got me wondering if it'* the same car I saw at the dealer last month. I posted a pic here somewhere with Lilpooky standing next to it. There can't be more than one in a 100-mile radius. I know they have to be limited production this year.

Who'* gonna get the first SC Impala SS kill? I haven't seen any out there yet!

Chevy has them listed as 240 at the flywheel. I just looked it up again. I didn't know they were available in blue, either. Cool!

Y'know, that'* a brand new car. I don't think I'd be driving it like that if I just bought it.

i think ther is a 1-5k mile "break in" period on new cars. If I had just dropped $20k+ I would baby the hell out of it.
