Default Finally..

Well, as I said I would yesterday, I found a hoopty while I was going to work, and kicked its ***. It was such a sorry scene that I won't even relate it here. I couldn't help it though, after my streak of bad luck on the strip. I found a little half-riced Ford SVT Focus, driven by a punk kid trying to impress his girlfriend. Why does Ford even bother to stamp SVT on the silly little Focus? Anyway, I wasted him, he was humiliated, and I grinned to myself in self satisfaction. It was like taking beer from a baby. Now I think I can continue to take on bigger and better things. But if I go off on another losing streak...all Kia owners better look out! I will pick on you! And Civic drivers? Ha! Eat rice evry day. <cough> Yeah.

Congrats Solid. Question: what mods where you using when you killed that Focus, and what exactly does a SVT focus have that a stock one doesn't?

No offence, but I don't think the focus is too bad (the svt and the zx3 that is) of a car. I personally didn't like the focus when it first came out , but it kind of grew on me. I think the reason for this is, ever since I have had some very unfortune mishaps while driving the bonneville I got an appreciation for any car that can handle well.

Default No mods

LOL. Need no mods for any Focus. They are zippy little thangs, but even an SVT can't take an SSEi. I will grant that they are quick though. I can't afford mods at the moment because I'm poor, so my kill stories kind of suck. But I swear to god I'm gonna kill as many mundane cars as I possibly can in the meantime. And now that the nice weather is back, the Rice is coming out full force..hehehe. As I love to say, its healthy to eat Rice every day.

Resident Ford guy is back from vacation

SVT Focus is a 170 Horsepower Supercharged 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder "Zetec". It puts out 145 ft-lbs of torque mated to a 6-speed manual tranny, turns the 1/4 mile in 16.1 seconds and 0-60 in 7.6... Yeah its "zippy" and for its price tag not a bad buy, but it can't hang with anything except other rice. IMO The SVT Focus crowd is going to switch to the Neon SRT-4 which is only $3000 more but makes 225 front wheel horsepower.

i laugh at the thought of a focus svt, but that'* not the same story with the contour svt. I rode in one of those stock and was very impressed. now there'* an aftermarter supercharger, intake, exhaust, chip, and nos in the process. i wouldn't mess with that......

the Torque may be a bit higher, I can't remember exactly. It'* really an over-rated vehicle. The Contour SVT as you say was a pretty cool car, it had some go and handled real well.

I really like the look of that Contour SVT, I just wish it was a little bigger. I'd have to go with an SHO, just cuz its bigger.

Do they have SVT Focuses...or Foci? in CAN?
